Children’s Services

Special Education Aide
Assist students in developing their educational, social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, or related field preferred. Experience in teaching, human services or behavior management preferred. Current MA driver’s license required. Must be able and willing to physically intervene with extreme behaviors.
Mon Fri, 7:00 am 3:00pm. 40 hours. $12.00 per hour.
Behavior Specialist
Provide behavior management of students using TCI, in conjunction with teachers, teacher aides and residential staff. Bachelor’s degree in human services field or equivalent experience, including one year experience with special needs population. Strong therapeutic behavior management skills required. Current MA driver’s license required. Must be able and willing to physically intervene with extreme behaviors.
Monday Friday, 2pm- 10pm. 40 hours. $12.00 per hour.
Licensed Therapist / Clinician Temporary
Providing clinical services to adolescents in a therapeutic, clinical setting. Req: Masters degree in counseling, psychology or social work. Related experience and strong advocacy skills are required. MA licensure required.
Monday through Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm. 40 hours. $17.00 per hour

One:One Counselors
Plan and provide services to one individual including: developing and delivering instruction, supports and positive role modeling in the areas of life skills, community utilization, health care, social and recreational activities. High School diploma, one-year human services experience required. Must be female, have current MA driver’s license and be able to physically intervene with extreme behaviors.
Sun 8am 10pm, Mon 2:30pm 8:30pm, Tues 2:30pm 8:30pm. 26 hours. $11.00 per hour.
Sun 7am 9pm, Mon 2:30pm 9pm, Tues 2:30pm 9pm, Wed 2:30pm-9pm. 33.5 hours. $11.00 per hour.
Thurs 2:30pm 9pm, Fri 2:30pm 9pm, Sat 7am 9pm. 27 hours. $11.00 per hour
Residential Counselors
Develop and conduct activities with individuals or small groups and provide positive role modeling in areas of life skills, health care, social and recreational activities. Bachelor's Degree in psychology, education, recreation, or related field, one year experience preferred. Requirements include current MA driver’s license and the ability to physically intervene with extreme behaviors. Candidate must be female if the shift includes overnight hours.
Residential Counselor 1: Thurs 2pm-8:30am, Fri 2pm 10:30pm, Sat 9am 10pm. 40 hours. $11.00 per hour.

Residential Counselor 1: Sun 8:00am- 9:00pm, Mon 2pm 10:30pm, Tues 2pm- 10:30pm, Fri 10pm 8am. 40 hours. $11.00 per hour.
Residential Counselor 1: Wed 2pm 11pm, Thurs 2pm-11pm, Fri 2pm-11pm, Sat 9am 10pm. 40 hours. $11.00 per hour.
Child Care Worker: Thurs 7:30pm 8:30am, Fri 7:30pm 9:30am (designee shift), Sat 7:30pm-8:30am. Must be qualified for med and designee training and be able to run shift alone. Must be female. 40 hours. $12.00 per hour; $14 per hour for designee hours.
Adult Program
Residential Counselor 2, Centerville (SAIL program BT)
Provides support and positive role modeling to individuals in their development of life skills, community utilization, health care, social and recreational skills. Bachelor's Degree in psychology, education, recreation, or related field; or equivalent experience preferred. Must be able and willing to physically intervene with extreme behaviors. MA driver's license required. Candidate must be female if the shift includes overnight hours.
Sat 8am - Sun 5pm; Mon 9am - 11am. 35 hours. $12.00 per hour.
Vocational Counselor
Plan and provide direct services for individuals living in a community residence such as vocational training, seeking vocational opportunities and enhancing supports for work. Also includes support and positive role modeling in the areas of life skills, community utilization, health care, and social and recreational activities. Bachelor’s degree and one year human services experience, or 5 years related experience is preferred. Must have current drivers license and be able to physically intervene with extreme behaviors.
Vocational Counselor Harwich (Freds): Fri. 9am 11am, Sat 9am 7pm, Sun 9am 7pm. 22 hours. $12.00 per hour.
Vocational Counselor S. Yarmouth (Weir Rd) Sat. 8am-6pm, Sunday 10am 8pm, Wed. 8:15-10:15 (staff meeting). 22 hours. $12.00 per hour.
Vocational Counselor S. Yarmouth (Hazelmoor): Wed 8:30am 10:30am (staff meeting), Wed 12pm- 4pm, Thurs 7am- 7pm, Fri 7am 7pm, Sat 8am-6pm. 40 hours. $12.00 per hour.
One:One Counselor

Year ‘Round Agency Substitutes
Enjoy a flexible schedule working as a part-time, temporary life-skills counselor at Latham Centers, a private non-profit agency, serving individuals with special needs. Work on an as-needed basis, in day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts. Paid training includes CPR, First Aid, and Crisis Intervention. Mid-Cape work locations include: Brewster, Harwich, S. Yarmouth, Hyannis, Centerville and Yarmouthport. $11.50 per hour.
Administration
Information Technology Specialist
Provide IT support, implement agency technology plan, maintain, refurbish, relocate and trouble shoot IT equipment, inventory and phone system. Work with manufacturers on software/hardware issues, with other parties setting up network, grants related to IT. BS degree required, 5 years hands on experience managing/consulting on a multi-server environment with Active Directory, Exchange, Terminal Services and other Microsoft tools and technologies. Experience with VPNs required, Watchguard / Sonicwall is a plus.
Hours will vary. 40 hours.
